Program Highlights
Training Institute provides phlebotomy training for CPT-1 licensure approved by California Laboratory Field Services. This program exceeds state standards and provides 48 hours of theory and 120 hours of clinical rotation. Gain hands-on experience of at least 100 successful venipunctures, 25 skin punctures, and 2 arterial observations. Due to the high demand, participants are chosen through a lottery.

Program Requirements
- Attend the mandatory orientation
- Background check, drug screen, and immunizations (details at orientation)
- Current CPR Card (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Advisory Notes
- The state of California may require criminal record clearance through fingerprinting when applying for licensure as a Phlebotomist
- A high school diploma or GED is required for licensure by the State

Class Dates & Times
- Saturdays, Beginning September 28, 2024, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (168 hours total)
- Saturdays, Beginning January, June, and September in 2025 (168 hours total)
Registration Fee
$3,295*
*Additional 3rd party costs, separate from tuition, will be required for book, background check/drug screen, CPR, liability insurance, scrubs, testing, and other non-tuition costs (immunizations or lab tests) that will vary with student needs.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received up to five (5) working days before the course start date are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee. After that, cancellations are subject to the entire course fee. Please note that if you don't cancel and don't attend, you are responsible for payment.
