Each year the San Joaquin Valley Town Hall Lecture Series brings six speakers to Fresno to address intriguing topics of our times. Noted authors, scholars, journalists, scientists, and artists come to the William Saroyan Theater to share their insights, experiences and knowledge. The Town Hall Board of Directors extends an invitation to groups of students or entire classes to attend these outstanding lectures for free! Student or teacher ID is required for free admission. All lectures are on Wednesdays from 10:30-12:00, at the William Saroyan Theater, in Fresno. Next to each speaker we have listed those classes to whom we think the speaker’s content might be particularly relevant.
Reedley College President Dr. Jerry Buckley has offered to provide bus transportation to and from the San Joaquin Valley Town Hall Lectures taking place at the William Saroyan Theater, if we receive enough interest.
All faculty and students are invited to attend, needing only a valid current campus ID to get in. Admission is free!
FACULTY NOTICE:
If you are a faculty member and plan on taking your class, please complete the attached Class Attendance Form and forward a copy to: sjvtheducation@gmail.com no later than the Friday before the lecture.
