Our annual scholarship awards ceremony took place September 17 in the cafeteria, where 91 students were awarded $88,975 dollars in scholarship money from generous donors. Reedley College thanks all of the donors who believe in the futures of our students, and the State Center Community College Foundation and Reedley College Foundation for their support of this event. Students and their donors met each other during a reception in the Student Center, followed by the awards program. President Dr. Jerry Buckley, State Center Community College District Chancellor Dr. Paul Parnell, State Center Foundation Executive Director Rico Guerrero, and Reedley College Foundation President Linda Launer were among those who made opening remarks. Dr. Buckley and foundation members took photos with all of the recipients, and refreshments were served.
